9ct Rose Gold Jugendstil Art Nouveau Emerald Pearl Ruby Necklace
Jugendstil was the name given to the Art Nouveau artistic movement around 1890 to 1910, primarily in Germany. This rare and stunning necklace is typical of the period, with its flowing lines and pierced setting. The pendant part features 4 small round pearls, and one small oval drop pearl at the top, 2 round pearls on either side of the oval emerald, and one baroque pearl suspended under the small round ruby drop. The baroque pearl is secured in a 9ct rose gold setting with back plate. The pendant has 2 strands of a fine round belcher link chain and the main chain is a slightly thicker oval belcher link. The necklace is in 9ct rose gold, stamped 9ct on back. The emerald is approx. 8mm x 5mm. The chain is 40cms long with a barrel clasp, and the pendant part is 5.5cm long and 3.5cm at its widest point.
