The Broome Collection – Antique 15ct Keshi Pearl Ring
One of several rings passed down the family of a famous pearl skinner in Broome, Western Australia. These rings have been locked away for a good 70 years. The job of a pearl skinner was extremely important and skilled. This particular pearl skinner would serve nervous pearl owners drinks while he endeavoured to peel away the imperfections in pearls without ruining them! The lustre of Broome pearls is very special as witnessed in these pieces. This antique 15ct gold ring has a centre keshi pearl, with fair lustre, approximately 7-7.9mm in size. This is the oldest piece in the collection and although the pearl has some blemishes, it is a very lovely ring, full of character. Currently size H 1/2 and can be safely sized by our expert jewellers. This ring is unique and once sold cannot be replaced.
If you require resizing on any ring or have any special requests, please let us know.
